Solid concept, though clearly too short and easy. Introducing more levels with new mechanics would do this wonders.

Definitely flawed, difficult to go on through the levels. My primary issue is with the triangle enemy with seeking, persistent projectiles -- these levels can be absurdly, and unfairly, difficult, as the "food" tends to spawn within the trapped confines of the projectile's trail. There's no way to control or predict the placement of the food, making it very very easy to lose a level purely because the food spawned in a literally inaccessible area.

A very nice, intuitive game! At first, the lack of any tutorial or instructions was confusing, but after the first click it was clear what we were set out to do. It feels good to get those nice, long cascades after "excavating" around certain veins! Also, I really appreciate the color choices you've got here -- as a colorblind person (not entirely, just to blues) it can be very difficult with these timed games where determining the color of a block is key! These colors were thankfully very, very distinct, and hard to confuse with one another. So kudos for that!

If I had to make one suggestion, I'd say it would be cool if there was a sort of "zen" mode, where there may be no time limit, or perhaps a random mode, with the amount of colors and shape of the piece is randomized between each level.

As a previous commentator said: from one developer to another, well done!

I give this game such a bad score for several reasons. 1) I was not fond of how fast they came at you from out of nowhere. 2) The camera is incredibly zoomed in so I couldn't really see anything. 3) The ship could be damaged from a small radius outside of the ship. There was like an invisible barrier that once crossed, would damage you regardless of it actually touching your ship.

Ah god it got hard but it was very fun and original. Good job!

Not too bad graphics, good gameplay, but the link at the end for part 2 is broken. Sends me to a generic search engine page.

I LOVE the series man, keep it up!

Thanks, dude. I intend to :) I might do a small experiment before Myo 3, but I definitely intend on continuing.

Maybe he wouldn't have been too late if he didn't keep slowly strutting through the place...

At first it was very easy, never lost a bit of health. The difficulty soon increased a lot in just a few levels, but over all pretty good. The only thing that pissed me off is when I'd draw the soulchain line at the bottom, and it didn't work and about 40 souls zoom off the top before the next one kicks in. :l

zenmasters responds:

it didn't work because part of the line didn't draw, or something else? I could fix it by slightly extending the 'spell field' at the bottom, if that's the case.

Pretty nice, but the rockets were just annoying since you could barely damage the enemies before they flew off screen, meaning barely any kills, and the 'Boss' levels weren't even boss levels. It was just a level slightly harder than the previous, with a new type of robot that has the same health as the other robots.
