A bit late to the show, but I really did enjoy this piece. You definitely have a skill for this sort of thing if you're improvising any part of such art. Keep up the great stuff!

I believe I am a little late to the show here, but this is a fantastic piece with a steady, soulful rhythm that does not lose depth for its simplicity. Great stuff!

Very soothing and, well, aquatic. A loving and gentle piece with not all that much going on, which works in its favor since what is going on does its thing well. Great stuff!

Thanks a lot man! I appreciate it! :]

Very dreadful. But in the good way! It simultaneously gave me a sense of dread and one of peace. I'm not sure how, but boy do I love me some water tracks. Great stuff!

I may be a bit late to the party here, but I'll pitch in with my love for the piece. Very calming/soothing, charming in its simplicity. As others have said, it could use for something more (perhaps a violin or other soulful string instrument?), but this works nicely on its own. Well done!

ChronoNomad responds:

You're never too late to the party, as long as you show up! ^__^

Thanks for the feedback, Mister Guado! (FFX ftw) I'm so glad that you like the music. I love working with other strings, like violins and cellos and such, but this particular track felt like a solo instrument kind of idea. Honestly, if you can make something sound really good with just one instrument, that's a real testament to the music itself.

Also, violins (except for the pricey suites) are relatively fake-sounding and difficult to work with well. I've incorporated them enough to know that other artists will usually call them out because they just end up sounding kind of cheesy, sometimes taking away from an otherwise very organic-sounding mix. Such is the struggle with digital instrument samples, I guess.

Anyway, thanks again! Guess I went off on a bit of a tangent there. Of course, I personally find the piano to be one of the most soulful stringed instruments, so I'm probably biased. (;

Not sure if this was meant to be creepy, but it creeped me out. Well done.

This title is extraordinarily specific (and also on my birthday, huzzah). Care to share?

Love me some deep underwater vibes.

wilidacious responds:

thanks! glad you like it!

Would definitely love a longer version. Very soothing, stirring, feels like it belongs somewhere. Some scene in a movie or game, where it can be loved by many.

AzulJazz responds:

Thank you very much!

I'm a little late to the party, but great stuff! Very melancholic. Agree with previous comments -- sounds like a Final Fantasy tune alright.
